Moving screen/sieve jigger is an ideal tool for gangue removal and stream coal separation. Currently, the most popular separation technologies of jigging coal are classification system of lump coal and slack coal as well as washing process. And the grades of granularity are very different from the past. The bound of jigging separation has improved than before. For the granularity size, the upper limit has increased to 100-120mm from 50(65) mm, sometimes even 150mm.And the lower limit has achieved to 20-25mm from 10-13mm of the past, which is also the upper limit of slack coal. While the lower limit of slack coal shows a trend of dropping steadily.
First-class manufacturing technique and material of Jigger
Because the selected ores have different densities, Jigger is a gravity machine and makes water as separation medium. Most of jiggers are diaphragm ones, the stroke of which can be adjusted according to the ore content. The jiggers are widely used in the gravity separation of metals, such as tin, tungsten, gold, silver, lead, zinc, tantalum, niobium, iron, manganese, ferrotitanium etc.
Twin-bucket diaphragm jigger
Twin-bucket diaphragm jigger is divided into two styles: jig area and diaphragm area by clapboard. With a fixed sieve, our jigger is widely used in the separation of tungsten, tin, iron, manganese, chrome ore etc. What is more, it is applicable to both fine screening and coarse screening. The maximum size of mineral particles is 6-8mm, however, in some conditions, the maximum can be increased into 12mm.
Saw-tooth Wave Jigger
The saw-tooth wave jigger is a key machine with the principle of gravity separation. It features high capacity, large range of separation size, good separation effects, strong adaptability to selected materials, high recovery. So it is widely applied in the non-ferrous metal mines and gold-mining vessels, especially for the separation of placer gold, tin, tungsten, lead, zinc, tantalum, niobium, iron, manganese, ferrotitanium and coal. In our jiggers, the JT4-2 and JT1.5-2 specialize in large mineral particles, and the maximum size can be expanded into 30mm. Such two types of jigger are used in the separation of barite, manganese ore, iron ore and other ores, with some outstanding advantages, such as large range of separation size, water conservation and easy maintenance.
The Working Principle
Put some water in the sink of moving sieve jigger, and the hydraulic cylinder makes a reciprocating motion around the hinge pin. Coals are laid on the sieve tray in the form of several layers. When the moving sieve rises, aqueous medium moves down relative to the material. When goes down, aqueous medium takes shape an upward flow relative to the moving sieve framework, so the mineral gradually achieves density grading. Products in light weight cross the down-flow weir and fall into the rear of lifting wheel, with the down-spouting rising, they are discharged out of the machine. As for products in heavy weight, they are also selected by this mechanism. However, fine granularities which usually leak out of the sieve are discharged from the dewatering bucket elevator. During the process of operation, the loose of minerals is decided by the quality of moving sieve.
